Back from Italy and into WWIII

February 7th, 2017

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Italy for three weeks.  While we were away, Donald Trump was inaugurated our 45th president and as big Trump supporters, we couldn’t be happier.

During our time in Italy, I decided to just take the press in stride figuring that it would be different overseas than here, and I was right. Still, I couldn’t imagine what it would be like.  It was literally all Trump all the time and that’s no stretch.  I couldn’t understand many of the broadcasts because they weren’t in English, but I could make out the name “Trump” over and over again.

In a few places we visited there were several stations in English and in one particular place there was just one and it was the hotel channel.

On the day of the Inauguration, we made arrangements to see the ceremony in a small viewing party room before a party we attended.  Of course, we are patriotic so it was important to see this historic event made all the better because we’re big Trump fans.

Italy was an amazing trip.  I’ll share more of the details of that this week.  While I was there, I didn’t want to think much about the daily minutiae of the Trump attacks so we could enjoy ourselves, but now that I’m back in the states, I’m immersed in it.

It’s extremely disappointing to see how hateful some people are being against Trump. Evidently, they didn’t even give him a day to take in all the excitement surrounding his accomplishment in ascending to that position.  Instead, they immediately launched into nasty accusations and crazy actions.

I support the First Amendment.  Go ahead and show who you are and what you believe in. It’s always good to know.  However, half the time these people have no idea what they’re even talking about.  They just hate Trump. Hate . . . hate . . . hate . . . . So Trump takes a breath.  Attack.  Trump eats an apple.  Attack.  Trump goes to sleep.  Attack.  There is literally nothing he can do to appease these people.

Whatever floats your boat, but I’m thinking there must be a better use of time like washing the car or mowing the yard.

There has always been political opposition in this country, but it’s just so extremely nasty and crazy this time around.

Thankfully, not everyone on the other side is completely nuts.  So for sanity’s sake, it’s good to try to gravitate towards the sane ones who have a life other than attacking Trump all day.

We are happy to be back in the best country in the world, and we’re proud to be big Trump supporters.  He is brash and bold and that’s a great thing.  Those of us who support Trump love our country, and we think we’re #1.  It’s smart to visit and appreciate other countries, and we honestly had a wonderful time in Italy, but they all knew that I am 100% America first. That’s how Trump was elected after everyone said he didn’t have a chance to win.

Most of the states are for Trump.  That’s just a fact.  The liberal states that are going broke on the coasts just don’t get it and that’s fine.  Look for a mass exodus out of California because that state is in major debt because it doesn’t put California or America first. The rest of the left coast is also in trouble.

I appreciate those who want to give our president a chance who didn’t support his election.  It’s out of respect for the office that they’re doing that and it’s the right thing to do no matter who wins.  Unfortunately, too many people have absolutely no respect for the office and that doesn’t bode well for our future.

Anyway, happy to be back in the USA working on fun projects.  I guess I have no choice but to try to ignore the mean crazies while supporting our country and our president. Whenever it all seems insane and out of control, we’ll just have to remember that our country’s founding patriots had it rough when the country began.  If they could handle what faced them, we can certainly deal with today’s challenges.
